Short biography

Emanuel Radoi is currently Professor in Signal Processing at the University of Western Brittany (Brest, France) and a member of the SI3 (Security, Intelligence and Integrity of Information) research team of Lab-STICC.

Emanuel Radoi graduated in Radar Systems from the Military Technical Academy of Bucharest, in 1992. In 1997 he received a M.Sc. degree, in Electronic Engineering, and in 1999 a Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing, both from the University of Western Brittany. He has been an IEEE Senior Member since 2014 and Associate Editor of IEEE Communications Letters between 2018 and 2021. Since 2022 he has also been the head of Doctoral School “MathSTIC – Bretagne Océane”.

Emanuel Radoi first conducted research on time-frequency analysis, superresolution radar imagery and automatic target recognition. His main research interests currently include, but not limited to UWB signal processing, cognitive radio and sparse signal processing.
